*What is printmaking you ask? Printmaking is a process where multiple prints of an image can be made from a single plate. A plate can be any material such as wood, linoleum, styrofoam, cardboard or even a potato. A drawing is created on the surface of the plate, then ink is applied and the image is transferred to a piece of paper. This piece of paper is known as a print. This technique can be used to create various prints of the same image.
